01 Who we are

Wenbot is a non-custodial crypto trading terminal that runs inside Telegram and on the web. It lets you check, route, and execute swaps on Base and Solana. This policy explains what data the service handles, why, and the choices you have.

The service is operated by the company behind wenbot (the "Company", "wenbot", "we", "us"), which operates as a UAE free zone company (FZCO). For any privacy question, contact privacy@wenbot.io.

02 Non-custodial by design

Your wallets are created and secured through Privy, using trusted-execution-environment (TEE) key management with per-wallet policies. Wenbot never holds your private keys and never takes custody of your funds — you control your wallets and authorize your own transactions.

Because we do not custody assets, we cannot move, freeze, or recover funds on your behalf. Keeping your Telegram account and any recovery methods secure is your responsibility.

03 What we collect

Account & authentication

You sign in with Telegram — either through the Mini App (initData) or a one-time bot pairing deeplink. We store your Telegram user id, your first name, and a session token so you stay signed in. There are no passwords. The session token is kept in your browser's local storage (for example under keys like wenbot_jwt).

Trading & product data

  • Wallet addresses associated with your account.
  • Trade history, orders, and open positions — to execute and display your activity.
  • Points, tiers, and referral records — to run rewards and fee discounts.
  • Basic preferences and settings you choose in the app.

We do not ask for your name, email, or government ID to trade, and we do not run third-party advertising trackers.

04 Wenpulse group aggregation

When the bot is added to a Telegram group, Wenpulse reads messages for a single purpose: to detect contract addresses. This powers the "Trenches" / trending view — showing what tokens are being shared across the market.

Privacy-preserving by construction

We store only the contract address plus salted hashes of the chat id and user id (chatHash, userHash). The raw chat id, the raw user id, and the message text are never stored. The hashes let us count that a token appeared, without letting us recover who or which group it came from.

Contributing to the global trending view is opt-in: a group admin enables it through /pulse_settings. The global view also suppresses "one-chat wonders" — a token must trend across multiple independent chats before it can appear — so no single group's activity can be reverse-engineered from what is shown. This is how global trending is aggregated while staying privacy-preserving.

05 How we use data

We use the data above to:

  • Authenticate you and keep your session active.
  • Quote, route, and execute the swaps you request.
  • Show your positions, history, points, and tier.
  • Run safety checks and market-data features.
  • Operate rewards, referrals, and fee discounts.
  • Maintain, secure, and improve the service and prevent abuse.

We do not sell your personal data.

06 Third parties & subprocessors

To provide the service, data may transit the following providers. Each processes only what it needs for its function, under its own terms and privacy policy:

PrivyNon-custodial wallet infrastructure (TEE-secured keys, per-wallet policies).
TelegramAuthentication and the bot interface (Mini App and group messages).
thirdwebCard on-ramp and EVM transaction routing.
RelayCross-chain bridging between supported networks.
OpenOcean / JupiterSwap routing and quotes on Base and Solana.
DexScreener / GeckoTerminalMarket data — prices, liquidity, charts.
GoPlus / Honeypot.isBest-effort token safety and honeypot checks.
KOLscan / XPublic KOL and social data for smart-money features.
VercelWeb hosting for the app and landing site.
wenbot servers & databaseOur own infrastructure that runs the product and stores trading data.

07 On-chain data is public

Every trade you make settles on a public blockchain. Transactions, wallet addresses, and balances on Base and Solana are inherently public and permanent — visible to anyone and, by the nature of blockchains, not something we or you can delete or alter after the fact.

08 Cookies & local storage

Our use of browser storage is minimal. We use local storage for your auth session (for example wenbot_jwt) and for preferences. We do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

09 Your rights

You can request access to, or deletion of, the account data we hold by emailing privacy@wenbot.io. Depending on your jurisdiction you may have additional rights over your personal data.

Please note that on-chain data cannot be deleted: transactions recorded on a public blockchain are permanent and outside our control.

10 Retention & security

We keep account and trading data for as long as your account is active and as needed to operate the service, meet legal obligations, and resolve disputes. We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect it, but no online service can be guaranteed perfectly secure.

11 Children

Wenbot is not directed to anyone under the age of majority in their jurisdiction, and is not intended for use by minors. If you believe a minor has used the service, contact us so we can address it.

12 Changes & contact

We may update this policy as the product evolves. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, provide notice through the service. Questions or requests: privacy@wenbot.io.

Wenbot is a non-custodial tool, not a broker, exchange, or financial adviser. Nothing here is financial advice.
